"For every woman who is tired of acting weak when she knows she's strong, there is a man who is tired of appearing strong when he feels vulnerable."

--Nancy R. Smith

She just put into words exactly how I see the issues men and women are facing.

Women are oppressed; Men repressed.

Not that I'm anti-feminism, but I think it's about time to acknowledge both sexes' problems.

very well said. yeah. the world today thinks in a way that screams "me me me me!!" with people not giving a damn about the others. and stereotypes are sooo overrated.

i hate guys who act macho when you know its all a facade. i mean, hello? its soo not wrong to show vulnerability. and i hate it when they always always expect a girl to be weak. everytime i'm asked what i do for workout and i answer 'boxing', guys cant seem to grasp that idea right away and they are left shocked for a moment or two... thinking that i'm a girl, erog, i cant defend myself dapat.

oooh i'm kinda woozy na.. may sense ba post ko? haba ata eh.. hehe,,

you're right. the problems of both sexes should really be acknowledged now. it's not being anti-feminist nor anti-sexist... you're just realistic thats all :)

Yeh....i guess you're right. Plus....we really can't say men and women can be EQUAL in every sense of the word. They may be in some cases..but not all the time.

very true. for more of this, read The Hazards of Being Male: Surviving the Myth of Masculine Privilege by Herb Goldberg as well as The Feminine Mystique by Betty Friedan. :)
